I should know I have 150,000 gold in my stash and it's maxed out and am carrying 28,000+ on my person! Heh heh heh, I don't bother buying anything, just finding good stuff, fixing it up and either using it or selling it. Doing this will not only help you find cooler items but it will also help keep your gold supply overflowing, because most magic items sell for much more than standard ones. One thing I can recommend is to either get a ring or amulet that boosts your chance of finding magic items or socket a Topaz gem in a helm. Before that I used a Unique sheild and a couple of rare Kris' that I found in Act II. I've sold a couple of set items but keep the more useful powerful stuff.I've got a Lvl 24 Paladin now with 88 Stregth and I've just recently found a nice powerful sword. It deserves a place of honor in my stash. That little axe took me through the whole act and quite a bit of Act II as well. I still have my Rare-class Stone Rend Hand Axe I found in a cave back at the beginning of Act I. I also tend to try and save items that have been good in the past. Health Potions, Tomes, Keys, Most Potions, all these can usually be bought for cheap. It also helps to get rid of stuff you can always buy again to free up space. The Horadric Cube helps out later on in the game with toting stuff around. Regarding special items, I like to save them as much as possible. wielding a weapon that's as large as she is, but I can get like 5 attacks per second off and do really good damage too! (83-119 damage, plus fire)View image: View image: View image: View image: View image: View image: View image: Anyway, just look around, mind you, it doesn't hut that I have an extra 55% or so increase to finding magic items View image: /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif but there are lots of good items around. Here's my character ( a level 27 soceress):View image: I'll admit that it looks a little odd to see a sorc. If you just go to all the extra dungeons and kill all the champs and named enemies, you'll find lots of stuff worth keeping. Although I'm now in Nightmare, I managed to get all this stuff in normal.
